I have a Mac and I am very happy with it.
These are just the basics.
1. Mac turns on quicker
2. Mac opens apps quicker
3. Mac almost never freeze
4. Mac has a much clear picture
5. You can have much more functions then on a windows
6. macs do not get viruses as quickly as windows

Well there are many reasons to switch. It is actually all dependent on your own reasoning.
The trend is for computers to become more of a utility and have everything in the cloud, so the platform (PC or Mac) becomes irrelevant.
Fewer spyware / trojans on Macs, growing community. Some software is mac specific that could be a lot easier to do things. Like Harmonic (for automatically downloading lyrics that are put into the songs iTunes library).
It’s more of an experience than anything else.
Biggest reason, it just works.
Personally, I find Windows to be bass-ackwards, buggy, and needlessly cumbersome and that’s all the reason I need.
My Macs just work.
